'DataSHIELD' is an infrastructure and series of R packages that enables the remote and 'non-disclosive' analysis of sensitive research data. This package is the 'DataSHIELD' interface implementation to analyze data shared on a 'MOLGENIS Armadillo' server. 'MOLGENIS Armadillo' is a light-weight 'DataSHIELD' server using a file store and an 'RServe' server.

Currently, 'DataSHIELD' contains very limited tools for data manipulation, so the aim of this package is to improve the researcher experience by implementing essential functions for data manipulation, including subsetting, filtering, grouping, and renaming variables. This is the client-side package which should be installed locally, and is used in conjunction with the server-side package 'dsTidyverse' which is installed on the remote server holding the data.
